Thank You, Uplands Village

I want to sincerely thank everyone at Uplands Village for welcoming me with such kindness and attention.  It was an honor to spend time with you, sharing my story, listening to your questions, and talking about the issues that truly matter to our communities.

Your engagement, thoughtfulness, and curiosity remind me why I’m running: because when people come together with open minds and open hearts, real progress becomes possible.

A special thank-you to all the volunteers who worked behind the scenes to make the event run smoothly and to everyone who brought food.  I was amazed by how much there was and how good it all was.  You all turned a forum into a family table.

I left Uplands feeling grateful, energized, and more determined than ever to bring the voices of real people into the decisions that shape their lives.
